1. Recycling & 3D Printing
Our journey begins with sustainability. We collect and process recycled materials, transforming them into high-quality filaments for our state-of-the-art 3D printers. This allows us to create the intricate and durable housing for our speakers with minimal environmental impact.
2. Electronics
Precision is key. Our skilled technicians assemble the core electronic components, including custom-tuned drivers and advanced audio processing boards. Every connection is meticulously soldered and tested to ensure optimal sound performance and reliability.
3. Sanding
A flawless finish starts here. The 3D-printed housings undergo a multi-stage sanding process. We carefully smooth every surface, removing imperfections and preparing the speaker for its unique textural application. This attention to detail ensures a premium look and feel.
4. Texturing
This is where art meets audio. Inspired by traditional African patterns, we apply our signature textures to the speaker housings. This intricate process not only adds a unique aesthetic but also enhances the acoustic properties of the device.

5. Assembling
Bringing it all together. The electronic cores are carefully integrated into the finished housings. We ensure a perfect fit and seal, which is crucial for acoustic integrity. Every screw is tightened to precise specifications, and all parts are checked for alignment.

6. Vanishing
Protection and polish. A protective varnish is applied to seal the texture and enhance its durability. This coating is specially formulated to be acoustically transparent, ensuring it doesn’t interfere with the sound quality while protecting the speaker from everyday wear.

7. Beads Work
The final cultural touch. In homage to our heritage, each speaker is adorned with handcrafted beadwork. This traditional craft adds a final layer of beauty and uniqueness, making every Ukhamba speaker a true piece of functional art.
